Fortepiano "Walter 1789"

The period between the XVIII and the XIX century was an extraordinary moment for the development of music, when some of the greatest musicians of all times met the new fascinating inventions of the keyboard instrument makers.
Anton Walter was one of most important exponents of the Viennese school.
The music of Mozart, Haydn, Clementi and Beethoven today find the warmest appreciation by the audience when performed on instruments belonging to this period, but not all instruments are the same.

Many other instruments one can find on the marked are based on drawings or on original fortepianos which are very far from their original condition, but our fortepiano is the result on deep studies made with exclusive rights on the original instrument Anton Walter n.11 year 1789, belonging to the renowned Collezione Giulini and restored by John Henry van der Meer, who considered this instrument the most beautiful and intact fortepiano among the existing ones (15 in total) which can still be considered in original conditions.

At that time the construction of the fortepiano was inspired to the manufacturing principles in use in the factories of the end of the XVIII century, in line with the development of the industrial revolution. The Fortepiano Fabrik is an example of the changes that the society was living in those days.
The manufacturing was based on high-level efficiency and working organization, which was the reason of a very interesting quality/price ratio. Today BIZZI insipires his operation to the same methods in order to offer the highest quality at a very competitive price.

All instruments are delivered with spare parts and tool box for their maintenance.
